Evil spirits ordered me to lick her vagina, rape her – Man confesses after raping teenager in Ibadan

One Isiaka Mustapha, who was arrested for raping an orange seller in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has blamed evil spirits for the act.

The 29-year-old driver reportedly committed the act on January 6th, at Aremo area of Ibadan, the state capital, while pretending that he wanted to buy oranges from the 14-year-old girl.

The girl was hawking in the neighborhood when the suspect called.

Since she was already familiar with Mustapha and his wife, who were her regular customers, she did not hesitate to take her tray into his room.

Unknown to her, the suspect had allegedly sent his wife to go and fetch water but as the girl waited for Mustapha to pay for the oranges he bought, he reportedly pounced on her and forced himself into her.

He was said to have broken her hymen, as she was still a virgin, resulting in bleeding.

The teenager, narrating her ordeal to Tribune, recalled how she struggled with the suspect and screamed for help but nobody came to her rescue.

She said, “I had to tell my mother when she got back home following profuse bleeding and reported at the police station.”

The suspect, during interrogation at the Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, confessed that it was an evil spirit that manipulated him.

Mustapha said, “It is true I raped Halimat (pseudonym).

“She used to hawk oranges in my neighbourhood, and my wife and I used to patronize her.

“We also used to collect orange peels from her to use as mosquito repellant.

“That day she came as usual to sell oranges, I was repairing a faulty electric cable.

“My wife had gone to look for water that I would use to bath. Halimat asked for water and I gave her.

“She expressed tiredness, saying that she would rest a little bit but I told her I was going back to motor park to work.

“At a point, I didn’t know the spirit that entered into me and made me to rape her in my room. The spirit ordered me to lick her vagina first and then I inserted my joystick into her. She was a virgin.

“When I forced my manhood into her, she screamed in pain and I withdrew immediately. I regretted my action when I saw her bleeding and started asking for forgiveness from God.

“I also pleaded with her to forgive me. I paid her the money for the oranges I bought and asked to go home.

“Two days after, two men came to my house and I was arrested,” Mustapha added.

Parading the suspect at the weekend, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Adekunle Ajisebutu, admonished parents to watch over their children carefully and desist from sending them on errands that could expose them to danger.

The PPRO added that the suspect would be arraigned after the conclusion of investigations.

My Accusers Are My Lovers – Serial Rapist Reveals

Mathew Chibuzo, 23, looked at the journalists jostling to speak with him and smiled coldly. He was accused of raping two of his lovers, Vivian and Chioma.

The first time, he was accused by Vivian and some months later, by Chioma. In Vivian’s case, he was taken to court.

According to him, he won the case. Chibuzo, who was arrested by policemen from Lagos State Police Command on the allegation that he raped Chioma, his current lover, said he wasn’t worried about the accusation.

He said: “I was taken to court over a similar offence and I won. Definitely, I’m going to win if charged to court again!” Chibuzo, a commercial motorcycle rider, plying Alaba International Market routes, was said to have been arrested after Chioma accused him of rape.

Chibuzo said that the only crime he committed was in beating Chioma. Recalling his first arrest, Chibuzo said: “It happened in January 2016. My lover, Vivian, accused me falsely of rape.

Vivian and I had been dating for long until I started losing interest in her. Vivian has a cousin called Blessing.

Vivian attends Covenant Life Church, while Blessing and I attend Sabbath Domain Church. I used to see Blessing at church services. I started developing feelings for her. I decided to break up with Vivian to date Blessing.”

Acting immediately on his decision, Chibuzo jilted Vivian and started dating Blessing. The decision, however, didn’t go down well with Vivian.

One day, Vivian came, fuming and accusing him of rape. He thought the lady was joking until she brought in the police.

He was arrested and charged to court. He said: “The court set me free because there was no evi-dence to prove I raped Vivian.

After I regained my freedom, Blessing broke up with me. I was troubled by Blessing’s action because I had already developed a closer relationship with her. I was even planning to propose marriage to her.”

He noted that after Blessing jilted him, he met Chioma. He wooed her and they soon started dating. He confessed to have dated Chioma for six months before a serpent crept into their paradise.

He said that Chioma used to spend nights in his home, cooking and washing for him. She also used to assist him fi-nancially.

Recounting the fateful day that cracks appeared in the walls of their relationship, Chibuzo said that he was in a beer parlour, drinking with a friend when his phone rang, It was Chioma.

She implored him to come to her place. When he got there, she said they should proceed to his place.

They did. Chibuzo said: “We were in my room, listening to music when Chioma’s phone rang. When I checked the caller, it was a person I had warned her several times to tell to stop calling her. I became angry. I ordered her to pick the call, but she refused.

I became uncontrollable; I was already drunk. I then unintentionally beat her.” Chibuzo said that when he woke up the following day, he saw the severity of his beating and cringed in shock. He took her to a nearby chemist and bought medicine for her.

He noted: “Since the incident happened, Chioma had been using it as a means to extort money from me. I gave her whatever she demanded because I felt so guilty.”

He thought the matter was buried and forgotten until Chioma reported the case to a third party. A woman she calls ‘Auntie’ in their street.

When the woman saw Chioma’s black eyes and face, she was livid. Chibuzo said: “This woman took Chioma to Human Rights Desk at Alaba Police Station.

Chioma called me that she needed N1000 for more medicine. She said she was standing in front of my house. When I rushed over to give her the money, I saw her with policemen. I was scared and ran away.”

When he later called Chioma to ask about the policemen, she told him that her aunt invited the policemen.

Although he was scared, he decided to turn himself in the next day. He said: “I went to the police station and explained myself.

The policemen listened, collected my phone and locked me in a cell. Chioma came to the station 30 minutes later.

She was crying. I thought her words would exonerate me, instead, she told everyone that I raped her. I was shocked. I shouted.

I tried to look into her eyes, but she bowed her head and continued to cry. Chioma broke my heart with her lies. I trusted and even saw her as a wife material.”

Chibuzo, who appeared to know all the elements needed to charge someone for rape, said: “I have asked police to present proof that I raped Chioma.

I have also called their attention to the fact that even her clothes were not torn. Chioma is my lover. There was no way I could have raped her!”

In what could be described as highest point of heartlessness, some rogues raped and murdered a promising teenage girl. In this report, YAHYA SARKI present details of the sad incidence.

For residence of Kimba village, a sleepy community in Jega council area of Kebbi state, the rape and eventual murder of a seventeen year old girl came as a rude shock but then it appears they will have to live with the reality of the sad incidence.

Indeed, what could well be described as callous, heartless and terrible incidence happened in Kimba village when a gang of young criminals between the ages of 20 to 25 kidnapped, raped and murdered aninnocent 17 year old village girl called Zara’u.

Zarau was said to be on her way to her sister’s house to keep her company that fateful day because her sister’s husband had travelled and left the wife alone at home.

It was gathered that yhe young Zara’u left home around 8pm for her sister’s house to spend a night with her when the gang of criminals led by one Aliyu Sarkin Mata accosted her on the road.

The criminals, numbering four and said to be armed with some local weapons, kidnapped the lady, raped her severally and finally strangled her to death.

Our correspondent reports that the lifeless body of late Zarau was dumped in the bush by the criminals after embarking on the nefarious act, obviously in a bid to cover up for the evil deed.

However, one thing led to another and, as God destined, luck ran out of the criminal miscreants hence they were arrested by the Police and detained at the Police Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.

Narrating the incidence to LEADERSHIP Sunday, a visibly enraged father of the murdered girl, Bello Buhari said it seemed like a scene from the nollywood movies.

Buhari, a senior staff of Kebbi State Ministry of Finance, said the incidence came to the family as a rude shock “that we will not forget in a hurry”.

An understandably worried Buhari said he was informed of the sad incidence after the family embarked on search mission for the murdered lady who was earlier declared missing.

‘’When the incident happened, I was not aware but was later informed that Zara’u could not be seen. She often visits her sister to keep her company in the absence of the sister’s husband.

“But my son called to inform me that Zara’u is missing so I left the city and rushed to the village. As a matter of fact, I arrived Kimba around 10pm and I met group of sympathizers at my house in the village all looking worried”

Providing what sounds like clue that led to arrest of the criminals, Buhari said “We got information that somebody who took the girl on a motorcycle was spotted at Alelu village, some two to three kilometers away from Kimba village where my daughter was kidnapped”.

Continuing, he said “We also got additional information that somebody probably one of the criminals advised the first suspect who kidnapped the girl to allow her go free because the girl may have come from a decent family but he refused ‘’

It was gathered that the investigation that was launched by security personnel led to the arrest of the first suspect who was spotted with Zara’u on his motorcycle at the nearby village of Alelu which neighbours Kimba village where Zara’u was kidnapped.

It was further gathered that the first suspect, Aliyu, was arrested along with two of his accomplice but the lifeless body of their victim was discovered three days after they undertook the nefarious act.

Findings revealed that upon discovery of the lifeless body, the authority insisted that an autopsy be carried out before burial rites were observed.

So two doctors were invited who confirmed that before she was killed, the criminals had violated her by raping her. In fact she was said to have died following the multiple rape.

In an emotion laden voice, father of the murdered girl said “All I want the authority concerned to do is to be fair in this case, I want justice.

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Kabiru Ibrahim who visited the village of Kimba over the incident expressed shocked and advice parents to always be mindful of whereabouts of their children especially at odd hours.

He said 3 people have so far been arrested in connection with the incident.

While assuring that the police would not shirk from its responsibilities of protecting lives and properties and, ensuring obedience to law and order, the CP said those arrested would be charged to court to face prosecution upon successful conclusion of investigation.
