Well, former YBNL act, Adekunle Gold is not letting the thoughts of not belonging to any label trouble him at all. Soon after showcasing his new band, the singer has moved on to seemingly getting himself a new girlfriend. I hope I’m right. It seems like Simi didn’t bring him any fortune. If she did, he wouldn’t be without a record label. Many labels would have come running to him the moment they heard that Olamide’s YBNL had dropped him like a bad habit. Lol.

But Adekunle is not troubled about his present status, as he appears to be having the time of his life on the wings of a new relationship with former controversial Big Brother Naija housemate, T-Boss. I know this sounds like a sick rumor. But a post on Adekunle Gold’s IG timeline shows he could be dating T-boss or at least has a crush on her.

The independent singer took to his IG page to post a picture of T-boss and went ahead to caption it “BAE.” Now tell me, does it still sound like a rumor? As much as we know, BAE means BOO. And you know what BOO means. However, the singer may be implying something else. But then, how many of us would like to see Adekunle and Tboss together

Adekunle Gold Unveils His New Band (Exclusive Photo)

Following Adekunle Gold’s exit from Olamide’s YBNL nation, the alternative soul singer has gone ahead to form a band for himself. In an interview with Planet TV, the “Orente” crooner, who noted that he has no vision to own a record label, revealed to his fans and the public that he is now the front man of his official band called “The 79th Element.” According to reports, the band’s name is drawn from the atomic number of the singer’s last name, “Gold.”

Adekunle Gold’s “79th Element” band has a couple of acts in it. The new band houses Micheal Bakare as its producer and music director, Oladele Afolabi handling the drums, Babatunde Alaba on percussion, Ojekunle Ayodeji on the keyboard, Owa Ayo on Base guitar, Femi Leye lead guitar, Kosoko Adekunbi and Aigbokhan Martins backing vocals.

If you are among the host of fans who were feeling bad for Adekunle because you think he was not going to make it in music after leaving YBNL, you better clean up your ears, as you wait for Adekunle to manifest alongside his newly formed band in its Golden Form. My Contract With YBNL Has Expired, Am On My Own For Now - Adekunle Gold

Nigerian hip hop singer, Adekunle Gold has confirmed in a brief caht with PlanetTV, that he no longer belongs under Olamide's label YBNL.

The 'Sade' crooner claims that he his currently on his own and has no plan of starting his own label anytime soon.

In his own words;

"My contract has expired and that's it. In YBNL you don't renew contract. Olamide signed us for two years, so that by yourself, you can hustle and make things happen. I don't have my record label now, so I'm on my own for now... I don't know about record label and I don't have the vision to have one now."

This suggest that the popular folklore singer is up for grabs for music company's in the country who might need such talent in their music label. Likely candidates who might weigh in on signing the multiple award winning singer include, Mavin records, TripleMG and Chocolate City. Best of luck to the Gold singer.
