The Royal Kid in the house, Marvis, is the first housemate to leave the house tonight. She was asked to leave after Ebuka came into the house to pop a champagne with top 5 housemates.

The housemate who hoped to buy a car with the N25M cash prize if she wins, is already heading to the stage with Ebuka, the show's host.

Uriel Evicted From Big Brother Naija

Uriel has just been evicted from BbNaija. Earlier tonight Kemen was Disqualified for sexually harassing Tboss while she slept. 

Ebuka Uchendu Obi host of the show just called her out and told her she would be leaving the big brother house. She cried as she was called out and hugged all of her fellow housemates. She was given 10 seconds to leave the big brother house.

BBN Is A Corruption Of TV Reality Shows, CitizenGO Files Petition To NBC To Stop Airing

A non-governmental organization, called CitizenGO, is said to currently be garnering votes online to terminate the airing of popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.

Reports have it the group sent their petition to policy makers, the National Broadcasting Commission, the Presidency and the public and are aiming to get at least 5,000 signatures, they have about 3,160 signatures.

Their petition reads:

“Big Brother Nigeria is a corruption of TV Reality shows. The Nigerian public is complaining about the moral perversity in the House of the Big Brother Nigeria. In one episode last two weeks or so, the inmates were shown openly kissing and caressing one another. This is a celebration of obscenity, eroticism and idleness. More importantly, it is a big mockery of Nigerian culture and tradition. Since the inmates are Nigerians, they should have been projecting the Nigerian cultural heritage. But instead of doing that, they are bastardizing it. The biggest tragedy of the on-going Big Brother Nigeria is that our children are also glued to the TV screen watching it. Children are our future. Therefore we should protect them from lewd exposure, which might prevent their growth into free, independent and well-developed citizens. The NBC must live up to its bidding as a body charged with controlling, monitoring, regulating the electronic media and monitoring of satellite transmission in Nigeria. Our TV stations cannot become dumping grounds for all sorts of immoral programs.”

Bbnaija: Evicted Gifty Plans To Go Back To Acting

AFTER 28 days, Gifty has emerged the fourth evictee from the Big Brother Naija competition, putting an end to her dream of clinching the ultimate prize of N25 million and an SUV.

Gifty who was up for possible eviction with fellow housemates, Thin Tall Tony (TTT) and Marvis, was asked to exit the Big Brother Naija house at the live eviction show, Sunday. Her exit was greeted with silence as she hurriedly said goodbye to the other housemates and left.

Following the announcement of her eviction, BBNaija show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, revealed that Gifty secured only 25.65% of the votes while Marvis and TTT had 42.27% and 32.08% respectively.

While speaking with Ebuka, a rather calm Gifty guessed that Bisola, TBoss and TTT may have nominated her but was surprised when Ebuka said Efe and Kemen actually nominated her. About her romance in the house, she said, “the kissing part was a game”. She said, she will go back to acting. BBNaija fans watched her on and off romance with former housemate, Soma and following his eviction, she moved on quickly and found solace in the arms of Bally whom she now said she considered “as a brother”.

Meanwhile, at the start of the show, Ebuka revealed yet another twist from big brother. This time three housemates would be selected randomly to come on stage with him to take part in a ‘high stakes’ game. The three nominated housemates, the fake housemates (Jon and Ese) and Bally (because he has the green advantage card) did not qualify to take part. The random selection saw Bisola, Bassey and TBoss up for the quiz.

The game, according to Ebuka, had some amazing rewards on offer as well as another big advantage. If the housemates answered their questions correctly, they would pick from the ‘win bin’ that had rewards such as immunity from nominations for the week ahead as well as a traditional Nigerian feast of the winner’s choice. In addition, the lucky housemate could win a PayPorte shopping voucher worth N200,000 and a N300 000 in cash, a bowl of ice cream, 28 BBNaira to shop for luxury items during the coming week or a slab of chocolate. However, if the housemates answered their questions incorrectly they would pick from the ‘lose bin’ that had a penalty of automatic nomination for the week ahead.

At the end of the game, Bisola got her answer correctly and won immunity from nomination next week. Bassey won a traditional Nigerian dish of his choice but unfortunately, TBoss didn’t get her question right and so she had to pick from the lose bin. She learned that she had to wash the dishes in the house for the next week!

As always, the eviction show gets spiced up with an artiste performance. This week, hip-hop artiste, Ice Prince took to the stage and performed two tracks off his “Jos To The World” album. He also performed alongside Tanzanian artiste, Vanessa Mdee.

The housemates would soon move quickly from the eviction hammer as they prepare for another round of nominations on Monday, 20 February.

Banky is an amazing singer no doubt. And right now i want to use this platform to apologize for all the wrong words I said about him. It's just a game,we say/do things for specific reasons + i was emotional unstable cos i was up for possible eviction.

Gifty's Reply When Ebuka Asked If She Was A 'hairdresser'

Gifty has just been evicted from the on-going Big Brother Naija game. Gifty, who has had a pretty controversial time in the house with her string of kisses, multinational accent and comments about not knowing celebs, leaves the house empty handed.

She was nominated by the housemates for eviction alongside Marvis and Thin Tall Tony. Marvis secured the highest votes from viewers and was automatically safe. Gifty now joins other evicted housemates like Soma, Miyonse and Coco Ice.

While the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu invited Gifty to the live eviction stage, and he asked her a question from one of the audience at home. The question was, "Gifty you were making hair for most of the housemates, are you a hairdresser in real life?" 

Gifty kept beating about the bush, then she said "Well, i learnt things quickly. When i see people do things, i learn fast. I am a fast learner. I pick one or two things from them. I like watching people do it. So i will say i am a professional" 

Recall that just some days ago, it was revealed with photos that Gifty before coming into the Big Brother Naija house, was a local hairdresser in Obosi, in Anambra state. 

However, from her response above when Ebuka asked her, Gifty who is known for her "fake" attitude did not seem to be proud to call herself a hairdresser.
